DESCRIPTION:Dear CISV families and friends of CISV\, \nAlthough the pandemic has prevented us from physically getting together\, we can still “come together” in our support of those less fortunate than us. For the holiday season\, CISV is collecting non-perishable pantry items to stock the food pantry in Longmeadow. \nIf you live in or near Longmeadow\, feel free to drop off your donations at either: \n35 Blokland Dr\, Longmeadow\, MA (Front Door) OR \n47 Chatham Rd\, Longmeadow\, MA (Rear of house under covered porch) \nThere will be a labeled box at both sites and you can just drop off whatever items you have to donate. The food pantry is grateful for anything you can spare. However\, if you are looking to donate specific items\, they are always in need of cereal\, soup\, dry pasta\, pasta sauce\, canned tuna\, rice\, canned vegetables and the like. We are collecting items until December 16th. Please drop off your items prior to this date and they will be included in the delivery to the Longmeadow Food Pantry on the 17th. \nThank you for your generosity in support of those with food insecurity during this holiday season.

The intent is to gather\, energize and socialize with chapter members from around the US at a minimal cost. Registration includes a bed in a cabin for Fri-Sun and meals from lunch on Friday to breakfast on Sunday. (For those who need to arrive on Thursday\, an additional option can be purchased that includes an extra night in the cabin and breakfast.) \nWhere: Joe C. Davis YMCA Outdoor Center/YMCA Camp YMCA OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE 3088 Smith Springs Road\, Nashville\, TN 37013 \nWhen: Check-in Friday\, October 25th 11 am ending Sunday\, October 27th at 11:00am \nCost: We are introducing a sliding scale for pricing to help make this affordable to everyone. Each person will register for one of the following tiers: \n● Tier 1) $325 per person (this standard fee includes the cost to cover scholarship for those who may need it.) \n● Tier 2) $250 per person (discounted price) that does not include a scholarship donation. \n● Tier 3) requires completion of a financial aid form (Scholarship Application Form). In distributing financial aid\, the team will take into consideration the need and the cost of travel; full and/or partial scholarships will be provided.
