Apply for a Program

All applications (except Seminar*) are due January 31st  for next summer’s programs. 

We have moved to an online application process, which can be accessed here.  Please read the cover letter regarding program selection and the application process before starting your application.

We need leaders for our 2024 summer programming!  Please check out the leader information page to learn more and contact us to be considered.

Our 2024 Programs:

Village – Norway – 6/28-7/20  (must turn 11 in the twelve months preceding 8/31/24)

Youth Meeting – Sweden – 7/7-7/21  (must turn 12 or 13 in the 12 months preceding 8/31/24)

Step-up 15 – Norway – 6/28-7/20   (must turn 15 in the twelve months preceding 8/31/24)

JC – Male – Finland – 6/28-7/25  (16 or 17; must turn 16 before program begins and may NOT turn 18 during program)

Fortnight – Atlanta – 7/13-7/27 (16 or 17)

Seminar – various  (16 or 17) – Seminar Camp application process is available on the CISV USA website.

 

**If you do not see a program for your age group, please still apply and we will work to match you with a delegation from another chapter, if possible.

NOTE: All applicants MUST be members of the chapter AND attend Selection Day timing TBD to be considered for programs.

 

Scholarship Application

Generous CISV Greater Springfield Chapter Members have established a scholarship fund to help defray the costs of program participation for eligible families.   If awarded, a CISV Greater Springfield Chapter Scholarship will provide financial assistance to families to contribute towards the cost of program participation. Please reach out to CISV for an application form.

Training note:  Anyone participating in a CISV program over the age of 16 (except for Youth Meeting or Fortnight delegates) must attend CISV National Leadership Training (NLT).  The chapter covers the cost of the training and travel to the preferred training.  Before applying for a position please familiarize yourself with the training dates and be sure you are available.
